First Day Back! (For teachers that is!)

Today was our first official day of work!! It's great to be back! Today we got to work in our classroom and prep for Meet the Teacher Night as well as the upcoming school year. Here are a few of my projects today!
We are implementing a new school wide behavior system. The students are able to move up and/or down! It will be nice to be uniform throughout the school from class to class.

Here is my Phonogram (Sounds) Rainbow. The focus is to get the kids to magenta by the end of the school year. The kids love it and enjoy moving from color to color. I have done this for 4 years now and have had lots of success with it. This year I updated it by changing the font and adding a border on the cards, as well as making my quilt smaller.

My neighbor teacher Ms. Coopmans created these rules with the help of pinterest!! I like how simple the rules are. I added cute scrapbook paper for the background!

Do you ever get sick of the same old same old? Well my schedule cards were due for a change. I found these cards made by Cara Carroll (FREE on TPT!) I love the variety. My students live for a schedule (I do too!!)

So just like the Phonogram Rainbow, I made a Sight Word Rainbow to track sight word recognition!
